This awesome adventure is a 12-day trip which includes:

  • Canoeing in Killarney
  • Hiking the La Cloche Silhouette Trail, in Killarney
  • Sea Kayaking on Georgian Bay

Days 1 to 4

Canoe trip in Killarney - David and Bell Lake loop and on day 2 or day 3, hike up to Sliver Peak, one of the highest peaks in Ontario with spectular views of Georgain Bay and the rest of the park

Days 4 to 8

Hiking the La cloche Silhouette trail and on day 6, meet the challenge of "The Crack" feature on the trail.

Days 8 to 12

Sea kayak on Georgian bay and around Philip Edward Island, and at the end of the trip, enjoy some famous fresh fish and chips right out of Georgian bay

Once back at camp, Voyageurs will spend a day unpacking and cleaning up their gear, debriefing and getting ready to head home.

Our tripping staff are lifeguard qualified, experienced in tripping, and enthusiastic and eager to share their knowledge about the wonders of nature. Trips are in contact with camp a minimum of twice - while equipment is re-supplied, and while the group is transported to the Georgian Bay drop off. These trips will carry satellite phones.

Preparation on camp and on-trip learning includes:

  • equipment selection, use and care
  • canoeing and sea kayaking lessons and review
  • basic emergency procedures
  • food selection and prep
  • team building activities and individual and group goal setting
  • map, GPS and compass reading
  • no trace camping
  • back country survival techniques
  • weather awareness
