 Move For Health-Your smart start to moving more with a chronic health condition 

Regular exercise can help to improve your mood, energy levels and ability to move better throughout your day. We know that dealing with a chronic health condition can make it challenging to know where to start.

Join Move For Health, where you will receive the support you need to get started at a pace that is best for you.

  • Certified YMCA staff will build an exercise program with you that is tailored to your health and fitness level  
  • 12-week program with 2 sessions per week in a positive, supportive group setting  
  • Program is appropriate for those with conditions including: osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, pre/post joint replacement, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, high blood pressure/cholesterol, stable heart conditions, COPD, diabetes and obesity. Ideal for those transitioning from rehabilitation program to exercise in a community setting.

Mondays & Wednesdays  10:05-11:05 am  OR  Tuesdays & Thursdays  11:30-12:30 pm  OR 6:00-7:00 pm

Program is free for YMCA members & non-members between June 3, 2019 - February 28, 2020
